I saw a cool looking shaggy(ish) rug at Costco the other day, lets go on a Costco introduction one day, it’s fun! 
I like the curtain idea, you can also continue your picture love with a cool frame over the light switch. Change the plate or cover it with a fun fabric or paper. Have you been to Kirkland(s?) sometimes they have cool stuff for good prices.

If you found some pallets at any of the local business you could build your own leaning shelves. I bet it would look pretty cool there. I’m using pallets now to build a shelf and to also use the wood to build a new entertainment center

What about a “mudroom” style white bench with some wainscoting and pretty hagers to hang things. It would make a great place for guests an you to place shoes and bags.

Val – Yeah! I’ve never been to a Costco before!
Tracy – Do you remember that time Alex and I tried to put that DVD cabinet together? It took us an entire day and all the Rocky movies. If we tried to build something, we would either sever a limb or kill each other. hahaha… but, I love the idea! I wish we were more handy.
April – I do like the bench idea & have looked at a few online. I still can’t believe there isn’t an IKEA in Vegas. Although, I’m not opposed to taking a very long weekend to San Diego to visit one.
